Robusta cold brew: a 16-hour steep
A 1:10 ratio, a coarse grind and 14–16 hours in the fridge — smooth, low-bitterness cold brew that lasts all week.

Cold brew extracts coffee with cold water over many hours, so bitterness and acidity drop away and you are left with chocolatey body and natural sweetness.
| Coffee | 100g, coarse grind |
|---|---|
| Water | 1,000ml, cool filtered |
| Time | 14–16 hours, in the fridge |
| Keeps | Up to 7 days, sealed |
Ratio 1:10 — 100g of coarsely ground coffee to 1,000ml of water. Steep for 14–16 hours in the fridge. Strain, keep chilled and enjoy.
Tips
Stir gently after the first hour so all the grounds get wet. Filter twice (mesh then paper) for a clean cup. Mix 1:1 with fresh milk for a cold brew latte.
