Storing roasted coffee after opening
Keep out air, light, heat and moisture — four rules that keep coffee aromatic for longer.

Coffee tastes best 2–6 weeks after roasting. Once the bag is open, aroma fades quickly if it is stored badly.
Four rules
- Fold the bag tight and press the air out.
- Keep it somewhere dark, out of direct sun.
- Not next to the stove or a hot espresso machine.
- Not in the fridge — moisture dulls the flavour.
If you buy whole beans, grind just before brewing.
